I agree that being conscious about sex is necessary, but not sufficient on its own, to avoid corruption. You give an excellent example. Nor am I saying that viewing sex through a spiritual lens means that sex is the vehicle for liberation, as tantra might suggest. I only mean that if you repress it, it's almost guaranteed to create more problems.
