Thanks for your thoughtful response. I wanted to write something more focused and didn't get into NDE and other kinds egoic death experiences where line between the spiritual and material worlds thins, blurs or is crossed. There's only so much one can cover in a short piece! I agree -- we can't and aren't meant to be in the state of presence for an extended period.
